My following activities require me to have a

Class B USDA license:
 


*  Placing animals bred and raised on my premises


*  The purchase, acquirement and/or resale of any animal

NOTE: A license is required whether or not I takes physical possession or control of the animal.

So rehoming your pet for you is a regulated activity.

*  Negotiating the purchase, adoption, or sale of any regulated animal, my own or your animal that is here to be rehomed.
 

*  The exhibition of regulated animals is a minor part of my business
 

*  Transporting animals for compensation, animals not bred and raised on my premises
NOTE: A Class A dealer who wants to transport for compensation animals other than his/her own animals must change to a Class B license.

 

*  Selling of domestic dogs to an exhibitor


*  Selling of dogs for: hunting, security or breeding


*  Selling of more than $500 per calendar year to an exhibitor
