Welcome to our second retreat.  

Last year we had such a wonderful time that we just couldn't wait to have yet another retreat.  We have high hopes of having this as a local event this year.

You won't have to squeeze in or hurry out this year, we have the largest sites in the area, see our HUGE 20' x 40' sites!

We open Tuesday July 15th at noon and close Monday, July 21st at noon.

The following information is very important to assure that all of our guests have the best time possible:


CAMPING:

We welcome visitors! We have many sites available and welcome you, your family and friends to come join in on the fun. We are hoping that all of guest will enjoy their stay and come again next year.

We allow one camper and one tent per lot. Additional campers and tents on the same lot will be charged an additional fee of $45.00 each.

NO GLASS PLEASE! Glass can be very dangerous to all of those barefoot guests so please pack can or plastic drinks and leave those glass items at home, Thank you for helping keep our grounds safe for everyone!

NO PETS ALLOWED! Be a good parent to your pet and leave them with a friend or neighbor where they will have good care and air conditioning.

We will be providing porta potties, running water and garbage service. If there is anything else you need, remember to pack it!

We may have a small convience store which will carry basic items which you may need during your stay.

Please be sure to secure your site before you leave. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.

 

FOOD:

Grilled and/or Smoked. Our cook has 17 years profession experience. Don't worry about cooking, just come visit our a-la-carte. Available meal times will be posted on the lunch stand.

 

VISITORS TO YOUR SITE:

Visitors are welcome to your site, please be sure they have room to park "on your lot" so other guests can still come and go! Thank you for your courtesy!

We will not be charging you an additional fee for guests vehicles unless they are parked in the road ways or on other visitors sites. Please be sure your friends are on your lot only!

 

THE WALK TRAIL:

Please take a moment to notice where our walk trail is located at, be sure to come and go safely!

 

LOCAL ORDINANCES AND SECURITY:

Please beware that local ordinances do apply, we hope that everyone will be law abiding during their stay.

We are not responsible for you, your camper, your tent or anything else during your stay. Be sure your items are secure before leaving your camp site.

 

EMERGENCIES

weather warnings will be issued by patrol cars. Please follow instructions given.

In case of Emergency: your family must contact the Eau Claire County Sheriff's Department.

 

WATER/DUMPING SERVICE

For a small fee you may purchase additional water for your camper or small pool please come to the office for assistance.

The City of Eau Claire Disposal Plant located on the south end of Ferry Street, offers a dump station free of charge.

 

CURFEW

We ask that you plan on a 2:00 am curfew, this includes all generators...

Loud music, parties and anything that disturbs neighbors or other campers can not be tolerated.
We do not expect total quiet; however, please respect your fellow campers.

Security officers have the authority to ask any person or groups of people who are abusing the noise curfew to leave the grounds and not return. No refunds will be given.
All state and local laws will be enforced by law enforcement personnel.

TICKET SALES ARE FINAL

There will be no refunds or exchanges permitted.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen items nor damage to person or property.

Disorderly conduct and destroying of property will not be tolerated and is grounds for eviction of the premisses.

No refunds will be given.

 

CAMPFIRES We will have a sign posted to varify if fires will be permitted)

No outdoor fires if weather conditions make fires potentially hazardous.

IF FIRES ARE PERMITTED we must all follow DNR Administrative Codes and The Wisconsin Statute

Campfires and cooking fires will be allowed ONLY IF FIRES ARE CONTAINED WITHIN A STONE OR METAL RING, OR A FREE-STANDING GRILL.

ALL FIRES MUST BE ATTENDED AT ALL TIMES.

ABSOLUTELY NO BONFIRES OF ANY TYPE.

Our local fire department does require the campfire to have a visible container of water near the campfire, a gallon minimum requirement.

Please be careful and considerate of others: SS 941.10 Persons who handle burning material in a negligent manner will be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. Negligent defined as a situation where person/person's property is put in danger.

SS 26.21 Person who starts a fire may be liable for double the amount of damages done by the fire. County or town fees may apply if needed.

Ashes must be disposed of by wetting them entirely or by placing them in a covered metal container.

SORRY, NO FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND (includes sparklers and firecrackers) Eau Claire County Sheriff's Department may issue citations.

Fire or medical emergency will be handled by Township Fire Department and Gold Cross and Township Ambulance service.
